Vineyard Novelle Noir is a purebred Valais Blacknose ewe, born April 21, 2026. She holds a special place in our program as the first naturally bred lamb born on our farm.
Her sire is our Maximum-point ram, SCM Mattijs, and her dam is Iowa Lilac, who also graded -1. Novelle Noir carries the best of both.
At the 2026 National Valais Blacknose Sheep Show in Des Moines, Iowa, she won first place and graded -1, just one point off Maximum.
Novelle Noir is not for sale. She stays here as part of our breeding flock.
