Vineyard Nikka Whiskey is a purebred Valais Blacknose ewe, born May 8, 2026 by embryo transfer. Her sire, Iowa Kevin, is a Maximum-point ram. Her dam, Iowa Melania, is known for her incredible structure, and Nikka Whiskey has inherited that same build. At the 2026 Iowa show she graded just one point off Maximum (-1).
Her standout traits are her deep black face and her structure. Those are the reason she has been sitting in our keeper pen rather than on the sale list.
She would make incredible foundation breeding stock, carrying some of the best genetics in the country. She has only just come out of the keeper pen, and we are not entirely sure she is staying out of it.
