Physical Characteristics:

Meritage is named after a neighboring winery’s exceptional vintage!  He is sporting brand new genetics to the United states from Wales.  His sire is Deepdale Horatio who was sired by Snowdonia Goliath.  Goliath held the sale record for many years in the UK.  Both Horatio and Meritage’s dam CCM Kudo have maximum point animals in their lines.

Meritage was a large lamb at  birth, weighing 13lbs 12oz, he has grown fast and has exceptional bone.  This little guy has some heft.  His face and head are wide and handsome and definitely our favorite part of him.  He sports all the correct markings and is looking like he will shape up to some very lustrous wool.
