Manhattan is an IVF lamb out of our -1, first in her class in Iowa ewe, La Nina!
He is sired by Parkdale Isa, who is a full brother to Highland Incredible Hulk, one of the most influential sires in recent history. Highland Incredible Hulk produced four of the only ten sheep to achieve maximum points at Blacknose Beauties 2024 in the United Kingdom, including the distinguished Reserve Male Champion, Deepdale Luca. Deepdale Luca went on to make history, setting a new male breed auction record at 22,000gns (NZ$47,000, US$29,000).
Manhattan carries all of the classic markings and his frame is one of our favorites on the farm to date. He has a classic face that is both adorable and everything you want in a Valais. He is setting up to follow in his sire and grandsire’s footsteps.
